Obtain duplicate vehicle registration in NY (individual and/or company)

 

For Individual

Required:

  • Your license plate number
  • Copy of drivers license of the equivalent of 6 points of ID

DMV FEE: $3.00 check or cash

For Company

  • The plate #
  • Proof of corporation, for example:

A copy of another reg, or title in your name or certificate of corporation or cancelled corp. check and a copy of federal tax ID page
Or a bank statement in their name and a copy of someone’s NY state license
Or 6 points of ID if they don’t have NY state license.
